AioFlight Fees – Simple and Transparent

At AioFlight, we pride ourselves on providing straightforward and reliable support for air passengers seeking compensation for flight delays, cancellations, or disruptions.

Since our inception, AioFlight has been dedicated to ensuring that passengers receive the compensation they deserve under aviation regulations. Our service is risk-free: you either get your compensation, or we don’t charge you a penny.

Our Fees is a detailed list outlining the charges for services provided by AioFlight. This document specifies how AioFlight will calculate and charge for assistance in securing your Flight Compensation and other related services.

2. Definitions

2.1. Reference to Terms and Conditions
“Our Fees” must be read alongside AioFlight’s Terms and Conditions, which provide comprehensive explanations of all terms referenced in this document.

3. Services Provided Free of Charge

3.1. No Fee for Non-Compensation Services
AioFlight does not charge for the Eligibility Service or Information Service. Additionally, if the Compensation Service does not result in you receiving Flight Compensation, you will not incur any fees.

4. Compensation Service Fees

4.1. No-Win, No-Fee Basis
The Compensation Service is a core offering of AioFlight, designed to assist passengers in obtaining Flight Compensation from airlines. AioFlight operates on a no-win, no-fee basis, meaning you are only charged when we successfully secure Flight Compensation on your behalf.

4.2. Types of Fees
There are two primary fees associated with the Compensation Service:

• Service Fee (also known as the Standard Fee): 30% of the total Flight Compensation.
• Legal Action Fee: 15% of the total Flight Compensation, charged only if legal proceedings are required.

These fees are VAT included and are deducted from the total Flight Compensation recovered.

4.4. Service Fee/Standard Fee

For every claim where AioFlight successfully recovers Flight Compensation, a Service Fee of 30% of the total compensation amount is applied. This fee includes any applicable VAT.

4.5. Legal Action Fee

The Legal Action Fee applies only when legal proceedings are required to secure Flight Compensation. This fee is 15% of the total Flight Compensation, VAT included, and is charged in addition to the Service Fee.

4.6. Legal Expenses

In the pursuit of claims that require legal action, AioFlight may incur legal expenses, including court fees.

• If Successful: Should Flight Compensation be awarded, AioFlight will request that the court orders the airline to reimburse any legal expenses or court fees incurred. Recovered legal expenses will remain with AioFlight to offset the costs.
• If Unsuccessful: If legal action does not result in compensation, AioFlight will absorb these expenses and you will not be charged for them.

Note: Legal expenses may be charged to you in specific circumstances, such as:

• If you withdraw from the Compensation Service after AioFlight has initiated legal action on your behalf.
• If you breach the terms and conditions of the Compensation Service.

These conditions are detailed in the Withdrawal and Termination sections of the Terms.

4.7. Goodwill Claims

For claims resolved through goodwill agreements with airlines, AioFlight charges a fixed fee of €39.00.

This fee is waived if the compensation awarded is:

• Monetary: Less than €39.00, or
• In Kind: Equivalent to fewer than 3,000 loyalty or fidelity points.

5. Full flight compensation amount

5.1. General Payment Terms

AioFlight is committed to ensuring you receive the total compensation amount obtained from the Airline for your claim, minus our applicable fees (referred to as “Your Full Amount”).

5.2. Payment in EUR for European Claims

If the Compensation Service pertains to claims under European Air Passenger Rights Regulations, Your Full Amount will be paid in EUR (€) currency.

5.3. Currency for Other Regulations

For claims processed under alternative air passenger rights regulations, Your Full Amount will be paid in either the currency mandated by the applicable regulations or, if offered by AioFlight, in the currency of your country of residence, based on your preference.

5.4. Currency Conversion

Should the Airline issue the compensation in a currency other than those mentioned above, the amount will be converted to the appropriate currency by the payment provider. This conversion will use the exchange rates applied by the payment provider or their associated financial institutions. AioFlight does not impose additional banking fees or charges for this service.

5.5. Final Amount Variation

Please note that the final amount received may vary depending on the exchange rate and the date the Airline completes the payment transfer to AioFlight.

6. International Bank Transfer Process

6.1. Transfer Process

AioFlight offers international bank transfers via third-party providers at no additional charge. However, AioFlight will not be responsible for any fees or costs that may be incurred by other payment intermediaries or beneficiary banks. These additional fees may include currency exchange charges applied by your bank.

6.2. Currency Exchange

In most cases, Flight Compensation will be transferred to you in EUR (€). If your bank or another intermediary is required to convert the amount into a different currency, the amount you receive may vary based on their exchange rates and any associated fees.

6.3. Exchange Rate Control

AioFlight does not control the exchange rates used by your bank or payment provider, nor can we determine how or when your compensation is converted to a different currency during the transfer process. As a result, the final amount received in your bank account may differ from the original amount due to these factors.

7. Value Added Tax (VAT)

7.1. VAT Inclusion
All fees and charges listed in Our Fees are inclusive of applicable VAT, unless otherwise specified.

7.2. Governing Language
In the event of any discrepancies between different language versions, the English version of Our Fees will prevail.
